Painting butterflies is about how quickly life changes.  It is about the trials of being a full time working mom with a couple kids and the difficulties that come along with it. Being categorized as a “special needs” family, navigating through the emotions, the celebrations, the heartbreak, personal changes and perceptions by others.  It’s about family, true friends, and faith.

This site is not just about being a special needs mom, but about being a “real” mom.  My family is not defined by Williams Syndrome, it is inspired by it.  I want to share that and if it helps one person, I have done what I set out to do.
